The International Women’s Association of Vilnius
undertake to process and supervise provided data fairly and in accordance with
the applicable laws. The association have a legal duty to protect any information collect
from members.

Privacy Statement reflects the practice of personal
data processing at the Association. Any questions related to this topic should

The data is collected if they are provided by
submitting the contact information when registering at the events, as well as
in other cases when provide the personal data to the Association.
In these ways, the following data can be collected:
name, surname, organization, e-mail, postal address, telephone number,
position, languages you speak, nationality .
The
data collected is used only to send the most up-to-date information, info about
the events as well as other information.
The processing of the personal data by the Association
is based on legal grounds such as the request to become the member of our
Association, the consent to obtain information from the Association, as well as
the registration to the events etc. It may be used for administrative, member and research
purposes, including the charity projects.
The personal data will not be provided under any
circumstances to third parties, except in the cases provided by law.
Our
partners’ personal data will be stored safely and securely and not used for any
purposes unless we have obtained consent or unless it is required by laws
relevant to data protection.
By
registering for the events the participant is giving consent for the association
to hold the details for the purposes of contacting regarding the event. All
information held is used for internal purposes only and will not be disclosed
to third parties unless the person have expressly granted permission for the
Association to do so or except in the cases provided by laws of the Republic of
Lithuania.
From
time to time during the events photographs are taken and put on the website,
Instagram, Linkedin and Facebook page, to illustrate what the association do,
or for event reviews, newsletters and event flyers. If the person attend an
event and do not want to be in a photograph, please inform the photographer at
that time before the event.
The association implement the appropriate technical
and organizational measures to protect the data against accidental or unlawful
destruction or accidental loss, modification, unauthorized disclosure or
access, as well as any other unlawful handling.
The
site has security measures in place to protect the loss and alteration of
information under the control of Association and protected from unauthorised
processing, loss, damage or destruction.
In
case of a data protection breach, the Association assure that the State Data
Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania will be informed as it is
required under the GDPR.
The person can exercise the “right to be forgotten” at
any time and can request to erase the member’s personal data. Once receiving a
request, the Association will erase the personal data without delay, unless an
exception applies that permits us to continue processing your data for legal
reasons.
The person have the right to obtain from the data
controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data if find discrepancies
with his personal data.
The person also have the right to cancel her consent
to the processing of the data without affecting the legality of such processing

person believe that her privacy rights have been violated, the person can file
a complaint with the appropriate authority in the EU country where you reside.
